Hardt of Christmas

We are the Hardt boys, Brice, Cole, and Wren and like most kids we LOVE Christmas.

We have a tradition the day after Thanksgiving to pull out all Christmas decorations and start getting in the Christmas spirit.  Our favorite part about the holiday season is decorating together and making everywhere look and feel like Christmas.  Our Christmas tree always stands prominently as the centerpiece to our holiday display.  Setting up the tree, hanging lights and ornaments is always our fondest decorating moment.

We believe the entire holiday season is a time for families to be together and enjoy each other’s company.  However, we know that there are families less fortunate than ours who don’t have the resources to buy their own tree, ornaments, or other decorations - making it difficult for these families to celebrate and enjoy the holidays together.

Our initial mission was to provide artificial trees, ornaments, and holiday decorations to families in need.  But over the past couple of years, families have been more in need of food and household items than they have needed trees and ornaments.  So, we have adapted to fulfill the most pressing need and are creating food kits – bags filled with essential non-perishable items and some holiday cheer (gift cards, ornaments, cookbooks and more) to help families and bring them closer together to enjoy holidays.  As long as we are making a difference this Christmas, our Christmas wish is granted!

Home: Who We Are

In 2019 we started out delivering artificial trees, ornaments, lights and other Christmas decorations to low income families in our community.  In our first year we delivered trees and decorations to forty families in Arlington, VA thanks to our partnership with the Arlington Food Assistance Center (AFAC) for pairing us with such wonderful families.  In our second year we expanded to focus on delivering food kits filled with essential kitchen items and some holiday treats where we delivered to seventy families in our community, delivering 50 food kits. Then in our 3rd year we delivered 80 food kits to families in the Arlington, VA area thanks to the help of several generous donators in our community.   We are targeting to deliver another 75 - 80 food kits during the 2022 holiday season and look forward to adding back the delivery of artificial trees and ornaments in the future.
